The Bad Homburg-based investment house FERI is significantly expanding its Hamburg office. René Toedter (54) and René Hänschke (45) will take over the local management. Both were previously active at Auretas family trust GmbH. "We are very pleased that with René Tödter and René Hänschke we have been able to win two experienced client advisors for the strategic expansion of our advisory business and our client relationships in Hamburg," says Dr. Patrick Zenz-Spitzweg, Managing Director Private Clients at FERI Trust GmbH.
René Toedter was a member of the management team at Auretas family trust GmbH (formerly Spudy & Co. Family Office) for more than ten years, where he was responsible for client services at the Hamburg office. Prior to that, he was, among other things, Executive Director and member of the Investment Committee of UBS Sauerborn. René Hänschke moved from Allianz Global Investors to Auretas family trust in 2006, where he was also part of the management team from 2011.
"Hamburg is a dynamic market with great potential for asset managers and family office service providers. We are convinced that we will further expand the business with high net worth individuals for FERI here," says René Toedter.
In addition to Bad Homburg, Düsseldorf and Munich, as well as a focus on Switzerland, Hamburg is one of the most important FERI locations for the core services of asset management and family office. "Numerous wealthy private clients, entrepreneurial families and foundations are based in the greater Hanseatic city area, which we look after individually and personally with our team," emphasizes Dr. Patrick Zenz-Spitzweg. He adds that demand is growing locally, especially in the area of the so-called "next generation" of high net worth private clients who, for example, want to draw on FERI expertise after an exit as a start-up entrepreneur or after an inheritance.
