Bad Homburg, 8/1/2024
by FERI

The Supervisory Board of the FERI Group has extended Dr. Marcel V. Lähn's contract as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), which runs until 2025, by a further five years until April 2030.

The FERI CIO Office created by Dr. Lähn develops all strategic multi-asset investment offers and makes decisions. He is also responsible for investment research, investment management, strategic product development, sustainable finance through the SDG Office and the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute, the FERI Group's think tank.

“Dr. Marcel Lähn has once again successfully developed the proven investment processes and portfolio strategies with a focus on multi-asset investments for FERI's clients. In his function as Chief Investment Officer, he will continue to drive forward the strategic orientation of FERI in the coming years,” says Dr. Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FERI AG and Chairman of the Executive Board of MLP SE.

Dr. Marcel V. Lähn has been a member of the FERI Executive Board for more than two years. Previously, Dr. Lähn, who holds a doctorate in economics, worked as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for BDT & Company International LLP in Frankfurt am Main. Prior to that, he was Chief Investment Officer at BHF-BANK AG and headed the Private Banking division as its Chief Representative.

“I am very pleased about the continuation of our successful collaboration. After taking over the position of CIO on May 1, 2023, Dr. Marcel Lähn and his team have succeeded in continuing the good performance of the investment concepts for our clients in an increasingly complex market environment,” says Marcel Renné, Chairman of the Management Board of FERI AG.

“I would like to thank the Supervisory Board and my colleagues on the Management Board for the trust they have placed in me and I am very much looking forward to continuing our collaboration with the aim of achieving market-leading performance for our clients with our multi-asset investment approach in the future,” adds Lähn.

In addition to Dr. Marcel V. Lähn, Marcel Renné (Chief Executive Officer) and Marcus Brunner (Chief Operating Officer) are members of the Management Board of FERI AG.
